Overview

After the Full Moon, light slowly recedes during the Waning Gibbous. This is an integration phase: digesting experiences, telling the story of what happened, and offering support or mentorship to others. Productivity can remain high, but the tone shifts from peak performance to thoughtful distribution.

Spiritual meaning

Spiritually, Waning Gibbous asks you to metabolize insight. What did the Full Moon reveal that you want to carry forward — and what was simply noise? Generosity flows naturally here when it is grounded in truth rather than performance. Rest is part of the teaching.

Simple rituals

  • Write three lessons from this lunar cycle and one way you will apply them.
  • Send a thank-you message or note to someone who mattered recently.
  • Teach or document something you learned (voice memo, blog draft, journal entry).
  • Take an extra hour of rest without earning it first.

Journal prompts

  • What lesson am I integrating — not just understanding?
  • Who deserves my gratitude this week, and how will I show it?
  • What wisdom do I want to carry into the darker half of the cycle?
