How LunaraStars uses cookies
LunaraStars uses strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to make the service work. Optional preferences, analytics, marketing, and personalization technologies are only used where you choose to allow them.
Types of cookies we use
We group cookies into strictly necessary, preferences, analytics, marketing, and personalization categories. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your choices.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for login, security, subscription checkout, fraud prevention, remembering cookie choices, and core site functionality. They may run without consent because the website cannot operate properly without them.
Preferences cookies
These remember choices such as theme, language, display preferences, and saved interface settings. They are optional and are only used if you allow them.
Analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors use LunaraStars so we can improve the product. Third-party analytics tools are not currently initialized by default and must be loaded only after analytics consent if added later.
Marketing cookies
These may be used to measure campaigns, improve advertising, and support personalized promotions. Marketing pixels and ad tools are not loaded unless you opt in.
Personalization cookies
These help personalize your LunaraStars experience, such as relevant horoscope, tarot, or content recommendations. They are not loaded unless you opt in.
Account memory is not a cookie
Lunara memory profiles, memory cards, embeddings, and returning-user greeting seeds are stored as account data in our backend, not as browser cookies. You can manage account memory from your account page where available. Cookie Settings controls browser-based cookies and similar technologies; account memory controls are handled separately.
Third-party cookies and service providers
Some essential services, such as Supabase for authentication and Stripe for checkout, may use cookies or similar technologies to provide their service. Optional analytics or marketing providers should only be activated after consent and listed here before production use.

Consent management
We store your cookie choices locally under lunara_cookie_consent with a timestamp, consent version, source, and category choices. Optional categories are off unless you enable them.
How to manage or withdraw consent
You can change or withdraw optional cookie consent at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent prevents future non-essential initialization and asks the browser to delete known non-essential cookies where technically possible.
Browser cookie controls
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login, checkout, or other core features from working correctly.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our services, providers, or legal requirements change. If material changes affect consent, LunaraStars may ask you to make a new choice.
